Carl's extensive experience in the wool industry began in 1977, working for Lohmanns in their sorting department. He received his Sheep and Wool Certificate from TAFE after a year of study in 1979, and then spent 18 months working in shearing teams around WA. Carl joined Primaries as woolstore Foreman soon after the company was formed in 1981. His ambition to join the wool Technical Staff was realised in 1991, whilst retaining his position as woolstore Operations Manager. Carl has been responsible for the implementation of Primaries’ effective wool handling systems, and the successful integration of the Primaries/Cargill woolstore operations following the 1998 take-over.

Ian Hunter
Livestock Representative and Auctioneer servicing Beverley, Brookton, Pingelly, Corrigin, Kulin, Wandering and Boddington.

Ian's livestock experience dates back to 1967, when he commenced his career with 8 years at Western Livestock. Over the next 23 years, he honed his skills as a Representative and Auctioneer for Wesfarmers, and later for Cargill's Livestock Division. He has been with Primaries since the Cargill take-over in 1998, and is widely respected by his clients and colleagues in the bush.

Brian has been involved in the Livestock industry for over 25 years. His extensive knowledge stems from 13 years as a buyer with Metro Meats, and 12 years prior to that with the Elders Livestock Department.
